Much thanks to Barry Gates for telling me about GRAND@CUNYVM @BITNIC and
@QUEENS. it looks as if GRANDs wil be springing up everwhere soon.
I haven't put it in the list yet because I'm not really sure what it is.
it calls itself a conferencing system, but it is not a conference machine.
What it seems to work like is the FLAME command on CSNEWS, or a glorified
file server or God-Knows-What. It seems pretty interesting but I think
it will take some getting used to.

IMPORTANT NOTE: GRAND will ship you an info file if you send in the HELP
command. To make GRAND work requires a few pieces of software which
GRAND ships to you when you issue a certian command. These files take up
a nice amount of space so be prepared. Also, YOU MUST USE THE 'RECEIVE'
COMMAND to load the files onto your filespace. Enjoy...

Virtually;

Chris
